Frequently asked questions

About the shop in preparation, the researcher waitlist, the research library and your information. Can’t find an answer? Contact us.

The shop

Is the Panthia shop open?

Not yet. The shop is in preparation, and no orders, payments or shipments are being accepted. Shop links on this site open the waitlist instead.

When will the shop open?

No opening date has been set. Everyone on the waitlist who asked for the opening email will get one when it opens.

What will Panthia offer?

A catalog of research peptides intended for laboratory research use. Products, specifications and prices will be published when the shop opens.

The waitlist

Does joining the waitlist mean I can buy?

No. Joining records your request for an opening notice. It does not reserve products, approve a purchase or guarantee shop access. Access will be reviewed separately when ordering opens.

What do I need to join?

Your first name, last initial, research role and email. You also confirm that you are at least 21 and joining in a research capacity. A phone number is optional and is only used if you also choose the separate text option.

What will you send me?

Only what you choose. The opening email is the notice you are requesting. Ongoing research and product updates by email are optional, and so is a single text when the shop opens. Both optional choices start unchecked.

Can I change my choices or leave the list?

Yes. Use the contact page to update your choices or to ask us to delete your record. If you join again with an email that is already on the list, your original choices stay in place until you contact us.

The research library

Where does the research library’s information come from?

Publication results come from Europe PMC, which indexes PubMed records, and each result links to the original. If the live index can’t be reached, a limited saved index is shown and labeled as limited. Molecular structures come from PubChem records.

Why do some compounds have no structure?

A structure is shown only when an exact, unambiguous source record exists. Complexes, compounds listed without an exact sequence, and names that match more than one record show a pending state instead of a substitute.

Is a 3D model the molecule’s real shape?

Not necessarily. A computed 3D conformer is one possible geometry, not a measured shape. Compounds without a computed conformer show labeled 2D coordinates, and rotating them does not make them 3D.

Does a molecular structure verify a product?

No. Structures are reference identities. They are not test results and do not authenticate any product or batch.

Your information

How is my waitlist information used?

To send the messages you chose, and to review shop access when ordering opens. The Privacy notice explains what is stored and who can process it.

Do you sell the waitlist?

No. Panthia does not sell the waitlist or share it with other companies for their own marketing.
